Highland show, class changes 2020

The Royal Highland show will take place from Thursday 18th - Sunday 21st June 2020 and judging will take place on the Thursday morning.

We are concerned that the number of animals exhibited has fallen in previous years for various reasons, which is why we urge you to consider showing at this year’s Royal Highland show.

We have had to amalgamate a couple of the classes in order to meet requests from the show, but would love to see a strong presence back at the 2020 show as well as other shows through out the country. The Highland have made it clear: if we do not have the support in 2020 at close of entries they will cancel the section. Please make an effort to support the event.

NEW CLASSES ARE AS FOLLOWS

FEMALE born on or after 1st Jan 2019

Winner will receive The North of Scotland Blonde Club Trophy, presented by the British Blonde Breeders Society of Great Britain

FEMALE born in 2018

Winner will receive the Aberdeen & Northern Marts Perpetual Trophy, presented by the British Blonde Breeders Society of Great Britain

FEMALE in calf or with calf at foot born in 2017

Winner will receive the Scottish Blonde Club Cup, presented by the British Blonde Breeders Society of Great Britain

FEMALE in calf or with calf at foot born on or before 31/12/2016

Winner will receive the J. & F. Buchanan Trophy, presented by the British Blonde Breeders Society of Great Britain

BULL born on or after 01/01/2019

Winner will receive The Ashtonlodge Blondes Challenge Cup, presented by the British Blonde Breeders Society of Great Britain

BULL born on or before 31/12/2018

Winner will receive The Semex Cup, presented by the British Blonde Breeders Society of Great Britain

Of Bulls, Heifers or mixed sex, born after 1st June 2016, from one Exhibitor Rosette
