Everingham Judy and her calf take the Reserve Overall Interbreed Championship.

Another great Lincolnshire show over with excellent results for Everingham Blondes, where they were awarded both the Senior and Junior Blonde championships on the day. Taking the Senior Championship was Everingham Judy and her calf Everingham Oscar who later went on to take the Reserve Overall Interbreed Championship. Harry Bennison lead the junior heifer Everingham Nora, where he did a brilliant job winning the junior championship.

Felltop Joyce makes her mark at the Royal Highland show.

Royal Highland show Champion, Felltop Joyce from Thor Atkinson bred by John Stott made a great impression on Judge David Tomlinson from Carlisle. Joyce sired by Ark Diego born May ‘14, continued on from her success at the Great Yorkshire show 2017 having been crowned Champion British Blonde. Joyce lifted the Scottish Blonde cup for the junior cow class before being presented with the champion Blonde plaque for the Blonde champion at the Royal Highland 2018. An excellent weekend was had at the Royal Three Counties show where the Blondes held our 9th National show. A truly remarkable turn out of cattle, with the results we have for so long waited for. Doncombe Madhu claimed all the ribbons at the National show 2018. Madhu bred by David and Sue Knight from Bristol shone as she entered the Blonde ring in front of judge Richard Bartell, who said she simply owned the ring as soon as she stepped into it. It’s a Royal affair at Bath and West, as Doncombe Madhu takes top honours

The British Blonde breed was back with a vengeance this week at the Royal Bath and West Show after breed classes were reinstated at the show. Doncombe Madhu, from David and Sue Knight was selected as the British Blonde Champion earlier in the day by Judge Willie McElroy Dromara, before going on to take Exhibitor-bred Beef Interbreed Champion, Continental Beef Interbreed Champion and then the Overall Interbreed Show Champion of Champions, judged by Judge Iain Green from Morayshire.
