Pinehill tops the market at Dungannon

Blonde breeders were delighted when they recorded a 100% clearance of pedigree shown bulls at the autumn show and sale in Dungannon Farmers mart on Friday past with a healthy average of £2440. Top price of £3000 was secured by Colin Todd for his sole entry Pinehill Orion, sired by Pinehill Goldenballs. This 15 month old bull weighed in at 650kgs and earlier stood 3rd in the pre sale show, was bought by Brian McGartland of the Drumnafern herd, Dungannon, County Tyrone. Hallfield Oswald tops Carlisle

Hallfield Oswald grandson to both Blackwater Ainsley and Bridge CrackerJack from P.Weightman and Son, Co.Durham took top price of 2400gns in Carlisle at the Society autumn sale. A small consignment of bulls entered saw Mr Spedding from Harelaw Farm, Bishop Aukland secure the April’18 born bull, sired by Aaron Jaigo out of a Hallfield bred cow Hallfield Liz.
