Virtual on-farm competition, Class 2 results

It’s time for some results… Class two, ‘Best Young Bull’ born on or after the 1st January 2019. Thanks must go to Rolf Schneider, Germany, for judging this class.

Results and reasons from the Judge

First Prize: Lot 10. Exmoor Polynices, owned by Abbie Westcott.

A bull with enormous development. Best meat preparation, an excellent skeleton and good back. He has a very nice head with big ears. Perfect front section. A very well-kept bull.

2nd Prize: Lot 12. Hillhead Peter Pan, owned by the Rodgers Family.

A really nice, very young bull, long with meat, a good foundation and has best muscling in the back. A very well-groomed bull who could become a winner.

3rd Prize: Lot 11. Lucyland Peroni, owned by Lucy Corner.

I personally like this bull very much. He is very complete and has a strong skeleton, also has great muscling and the best back. The bull is still in full development and is a top bull for breeding and meat.

Well done to everyone who took part, a great showcase for the breed.
