Exciting new competition!
With the cancellation of many summer shows and events, The British Blonde Society are hosting a Virtual On-Farm Competition.
The Competition will run throughout the summer and will have individual classes for both Pedigree and Commercials cattle. This will be a great opportunity to show case you’re best Blonde cattle.
So here's everything you need to know...
Classes & Entry Information
(Please note closing dates for each class)
Best Stock Bull – Entries Close 16th July
Best Young Bull Born after 1st January 2019 – Entries Close 20th July
Best Cow ( In calf or with calf at foot) – Entries Close 27th July
Best Heifer Born after 1st January 2018 – Entries Close 3rd August
Best Junior Heifer Born after 1st January 2019 - Entries Close 10th August
Best Calf Born after 1st January 2020 – Entries Close 17th August
Best Cross Bred Heifer Sired by a Registered British Blonde Bull Born 2019 – Entries Close 24th August
Best Cross Bred Steer Sired by a Registered British Blonde Bull Born 2019 – Entries Close 31st August
Best Cross Bred Calf Sired by a Registered British Blonde Bull Born 2020 – Entries Close 7th September
Novelty Class (can be anything from an inspiring picture to a funny picture, the choice is yours) Entries Close 14th September
Rules
Please take natural photos of each animal you enter (Ideally a picture of the Front, Rear and Side of the animal)
Pictures must be ‘EMAILED’ to secretary@britishblondesociety.co.uk
You must clearly state class number, name of animal, date of birth and exhibitor name on the email with pictures attached.

Entries restricted to 1 animal per class per herd
Animals must be fully registered Pedigree in the UK Herd book (except crossbred classes)
Entrants must be paid up members of the society, except those entering the commercial section
Photos must be current (taken in 2020) any found not to be will be disqualified
The Society may use some photos in future publications/promotion
Judging
Individual classes judged by Reed Rigby, Canada and Rolf Schneider, Germany.
Only the animal to be judged no consideration will be made on the quality of the photo etc.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, will be awarded in each class.
