Everingham Judy takes Blonde championship at the Great Yorkshire


Everingham Blondes took Blonde championship at the Great Yorkshire show, bred and exhiited by Neil and Jess Barrett rom Everingham,York . Everingham Judy born October '14 sired by Budore Donald picked up the silverware for both champion female as well as overall champion Blonde. Judge David Knight from the Doncombe herd from Bristol described her as “Superb class”.

Felltop Joyce born May'14 bred by John Stott from Cumbria and exhibited and owned by Thor Atkinson from Cumbria was defending last years title, was awarded the reserve ribbons. Lucyland Nacho from Lucy Corner, born February '17 sired by Clondown Eddie from Co.Durham kicked off the showing by winning the bull class which led the way to his stablemates picking up ribbons throughout the day. Hallfield Lavender born May '15 sired by Hilltop Hector won the junior cow class, bred by James Weightman from Co.Durham and exhibited by Lucy Corner and Hallfield Miranda again from Lucy Corner won the senior heifer class born March '16. Lucyland Nelly bred by Lucy Corner, born July '17 took the judges eye in the maiden heifer class and consequently took the junior champion award with Everingham Nora born February '17 sired by Everingham Incredibull taking the reserve junior champion place.
