£8400 Tops the market for British Blondes at Carlisle. More... Chagford Market, Devon, Rendells annual show and sale of suckled calves  last week (25 November) attracted a good attendance of buyers, despite the icy weather. The champion trophy went to H Scott & Son of Drewsteignton, whose seven-month-old Blonde d'Aquitaine-cross steers achieved the top price of £610.
